After obtaining his undergraduate degree at the University of Ghana in Sociology in 1986, Dr. Osei K. Darkwa left Ghana to pursue his post graduate studies in Norway. He then continued to the United States to undertake his doctorate degree in Social Policy.
He then crossed carpets – so to say – and ventured into ICT systems with the aim of applying them to field of education gaining various notable and accredited certifications from bodies such as Microsoft and CISCO. By this he has been able to transform the face of education by the adoption and assimilation of ICT techniques into teaching. He has been a pioneer of the online learning and teaching process and has overseen its introduction in a number of institutions across Ghana.
Dr. Darkwa has been the recipient of a number of prestigious academic honors such as
