GTUC to Hold Alumni Networking Event

The Institutional Advancement Office (IAO) is currently embarking on several exciting fundraising activities to enable the University garner funds for its programmes and projects. The Alumni Brand Ambassador (ABA) Fundraising Project had identified hundred (100) of GTUC Alumni from the Graduate School to serve as Brand Ambassadors. In line with this vision, the IAO is organising yet another major event dubbed the Alumni Networking Event which will bring GTUC Alums together to network and build a common platform to support their alma mater. GTUC Alumni Brand Ambassadors will represent the GTUC Alumni brand with the ultimate aim of;

  • Increasing awareness
  • Creating a specific image
  • Generating funds opportunities
  • Building customer preference

In consultation with the IAO, the brand ambassadors will help build and solidify the GTUC Alumni Association as well as create a networking platform where Alumni can also contribute to the strategic direction of the University. Interim leaders of the GTUC Alumni Association include; Mr. Mark Amamoah (Acting President), Head of Transport SSNIT Ghana, King David Boison (Acting Vice President), Head of IT, Ghana Ports & Harbour Authority and Veronica Afuah Dasilva (Acting Secretary), Lead Engineer, Vodafone Ghana. These individuals are working with the IAO as well as the Brand Ambassadors to help organize the GTUC Alumni Association.
